How it all started
Our story starts way back in 1962 when siblings Mokhtar and Mohamed Abaza jointly founded their first company for trading, construction, and heavy transport.
After 20 years of experience and success, and with the rapid flourishing of the Egyptian market through new investment projects and modern infrastructures, the idea of a new company was born with the Abaza siblings sensing an opportunity for growth and for penetrating new markets with huge potential. In 1982, they founded Misr Co for Trailers and Spare Parts Manufacture.
In 1983, an agreement was reached with Langendorf, one of the leading German manufacturers of heavy transports, to acquire their top quality technical know-how and to have our company name changed to Misr Co for Trailers and Transport Means (Abaza Langendorf). Armed with the latest production tools and technologies, we started offering superior product quality unprecedented in the Egyptian and Arab market, while also guaranteeing exceptional after-sale services to our clients
By 1992, with Misr Co having the market’s biggest share and most recognizable name, we launched our new 165,000 sq.m factory in Anshas, Sharkia Governorate. Acting as the largest factory for trailer manufacturing in the Middle East, allowed us to grown even further by developing our pro-duction process, improving our quality control
As the company was booming it was vital to obtain the internationally renowned ISO 9001 certificate for quality assurance in 1999
With the power of our team, from technical innovators, to our successful sales and marketing department, we expanded into new markets with a wide range of products in a very competitive regions in the Middle east, Africa, and some European countries.
To cope with the demand in the Gulf Countries, we opened our representative office in Qatar

We found it essential to have our office in the U.A.E by 2007
With a steady increase in demand over the years, we further expanded the factory’s total area to 205,000 sq.m in 2009 to accommodate bigger mass production and to ensure keeping up our high quality standards.
In 2018, and after 35 years of successful partnership with Langendorf, we separated to pursue our solo venture, changing our name to Abaza Trailers Manufacturer and ushering forward a new era in trailers manufacturing.
In 2020, we established a new branch of our factory in Khartoum, Sudan under the name of Abaza for Limited Development - Al Mehwar Trailer Factory, as well as a high technical service workshops to ensure maintenance of our products on and off the road.
